>Description:
Got LPD via remote printer for the first time by reading handbook and would like somebody to add some extra helpful tips/checks.

Will try to help out later with documentation on use of apsfilter and CUPS.
>How-To-Repeat:

>Fix:
At the start of printing, some text on making sure that the LPD daemon is running first eg.

"Make sure that the LPD daemon is loaded and running by adding lpd_enable="YES" in rc.conf on startup.

In troubleshooting, if there is problem with printing on remote printer, to make sure that remote spool name (lp) is correct when it says

"Waiting for queue to be enabled" for the status file.

A lot of small cheap LPR devices, use obscure names (as do some sysadmins).
