For some reason, I thought it was on the vendor branch so was reluctant to commit it, but now I see I was fooled because I was actually on the -STABLE branch. I'll commit it as soon as I can get someone to reboot my -CURRENT box. What do you think about the other idea about how "cvs update" should handle this situation? (I was so industrious today I even submitted a PR, http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=bin/40227 .)
