I had an interesting call this morning. Apparently, my FreeBSD work
box which is connected to the intranet with NIS and AMD mounts has
been runing calendar -a and sending out calendar messages for the entire
site. Someone finally complained.
It would be better if this option were not the default, at least not in the
case where NIS is being used.
We turned it off.
