Hi,

I too was interested in this. I installed 5.0-CURRENT snapshot on
one computer about 2 weeks ago and tried Linux JDK 1.3 on it.
Results were similar to those on 4.3-RELEASE ie. hotspot VM
works to some extent but complex threaded applications like
Apache JServ or Tomcat crash it. There has been some thread-
(and linux emulation) related discusision on -current mailing list
but I don't know if anything has happened yet.
