Somehow this slipped past me amidst the disagreement that both preceded and followed the posting of the freeze message, and it was the original intent that stood out clearest to me... i.e. Absolutely nothing to be committed to this area without explicit permission, except for completely new imports which affect no other parts of the tree. I don't mind serving as an example in this matter, but consider this message to be my appeal. It is not my intent to complain here. Adam
