No, my old server has them bound to the loopback; and it
works fine.  You just need to make sure your routing is
set up right.

But I set up the old server back in the 2.0.5 days; and I'm
re-visiting some of the decisions as I build up the new one.
(I don't even remember why I decided to do it that way when
I did...)
