For the Rest of Us, the unwashed masses, the people who just buy a PC and try to do data analysis and write theses and run netscape and compile big programs, *all* this ever does is jam up the works. How many emails have you seen on the lists where somebody said "I can't get this to work, waaaah" and LOTS of times the answer is "Oh, you have to relax the limits in login.conf for that to work!"?????
