I have 4.7-RELEASE running on a Quad 5500R in my lab. Had to use the MAXMEM option in the kernel config to get it to recognise all the RAM, but other than that, it runs sweetly with the inbuilt peripherals and a SmartArray Controller. The system includes the raid. I run FreeBSD on a Proliant 6500 quad Xeon, a DL380 and a 1850 at work. Works OK. Yahoo! runs FreeBSD on a ton of Proliants if I am correctly informed ;) -- | / o / /_ _ |/|/ / / /( (_) Bulte wilko@FreeBSD.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
