Is the union filesystem stable enough for this? I've been interested in doing something along these lines but I haven't because there are big warnings all over about using union_fs... but I know some work has been done on it since FreeBSD 3.x. Has anyone done this? Also, does anyone understand the difference between mount -o union and mount_union?
