Hi,

KDE has a own sound server (artsd). It switches of after 30s (default) when
it isn't used. So the sound device is busy. I have changed it to 3s.
(controlcenter-sound-soundserver). Of course this isn't a optimal solution.
There's a plugin for xmms, so it can use artsd for output -BUT- it doesn't
work with FreeBSD, at least with me. I posted this already at questions, but
I got no answer :-(.

Regards,
Tom
