-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 freebsd-questions is probably a better place for this. ;-) - -------------------- Start of forwarded message -------------------- From: Anthony Chavez <acc@anthonychavez.org> Newsgroups: gmane.os.freebsd.stable Subject: Trouble with 5.x on ThinkPad R40 Date: Wed, 10 Mar 2004 12:24:51 -0700 Initially, I had installed 5.1-RELEASE. buildworld would cause sh to barf with various signals under the RELENG_5_1 sources. I had to perform a binary upgrade to get 5.2 installed. I've now got RELENG_5_2, and the latest error happens during buildkernel. I've inserted it below. FWIW, I do have the following in /etc/make.conf: CPUTYPE?=i686 CC=/usr/local/bin/ccache cc CXX=/usr/local/bin/ccache c++ I've tried compiling with and without to no avail. Any ideas what could be causing this? Not that it should matter, but I'm getting my source tree via cvs rather than cvsup. Could this have anything to do with it? - -- Anthony Chavez http://www.anthonychavez.org/ mailto:acc@anthonychavez.org jabber:acc@anthonychavez.org cc -c -O -pipe -march=pentiumpro -Wall -Wredundant-decls -Wnested-externs -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wpointer-arith -Winline -Wcast-qual -fformat-extensions -std=c99 -nostdinc -I- -I. -I/usr/src/sys -I/usr/src/sys/contrib/dev/acpica -I/usr/src/sys/contrib/ipfilter -I/usr/src/sys/contrib/dev/ath -I/usr/src/sys/contrib/dev/ath/freebsd -I/usr/src/sys/contrib/ngatm -D_KERNEL -include opt_global.h -fno-common -finline-limit=15000 -fno-strict-aliasing -mno-align-long-strings -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -ffreestanding -Werror /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c: In function `pcic_chip_do_mem_map': /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c:849: error: structure has no member named `offset ' /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c:851: error: structure has no member named `offset ' /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c:851: error: `PCCARD_MEM_ATTR' undeclared (first use in this function) /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c:851: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c:851: error: for each function it appears in.) /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c: In function `pcic_chip_mem_map': /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c:928: error: structure has no member named `offset' /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c: In function `pcic_enable_socket': /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c:1212: warning: implicit declaration of function `CARD_GET_TYPE' /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c:1216: error: `PCCARD_IFTYPE_IO' undeclared (first use in this function) /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c: In function `pcic_set_res_flags': /usr/src/sys/dev/pcic/i82365.c:1467: error: `PCCARD_MEM_ATTR' undeclared (first use in this function) *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/obj/usr/src/sys/VULCAN. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/src. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/src. % - -------------------- End of forwarded message -------------------- - -- Anthony Chavez http://www.anthonychavez.org/ mailto:acc@anthonychavez.org jabber:acc@anthonychavez.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (Darwin) iD8DBQFAUAicbZTbIaRBRXERAhTsAJ0a0/4LHJ5KfV5bTj05c8szBu8JIACZARZQ y25KgDVjxvLjsZX8jzJUlCY= =6Z/M -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
