Point taken.  Now, wouldn't it be a Good Thing to say something
about this on the appropriate web page, which I take to be:

   http://www.FreeBSD.org/handbook/eresources.html#ERESOURCES-MAIL

I have scanned this document in some detail.  AFAICT:

   "freebsd-test" is never mentioned, let alone explained.

   "freebsd-test-digest" is mentioned (once), but not explained.
