Back in November 1999, we only had the BSDI extentsion, and fpsrvadm.exe
was/is compiled statically with the DES libcrypt. This required the Apache
server to be compiled statically with libdescrypt, or libcrypt linked to
libdescrypt on FreeBSD in order to authenticate Frontpage users.

Now that we have the FreeBSD extentsions, fpsrvadm.exe is compiled
dynamically with libcrypt. Unfortunately, RTR forgot to test fpsrvadm.exe
with libscrypt, thus MD5 passwords didn't work.
