So then, OF and PCI bus are the deciding factors? I heard that mentioned before on this list, but I didn't know if that was the official scope of the project or not. If that's the case, then the 603(e) is most likely out, cause my PB1400c has a 603e and neither OF nor PCI.

By the way, MkLinux support from Apple is pretty dead, and 3rd party support is semi-alive. http://www.mklinux.org has a lot of out-of-date info, but the mailinglists seem to be alive and kernels are created somewhat often.

I for one would love to see FreeBSD for your machines as well, but I feel very left out with both of my Macs lacking PCI and OF. :(
