Hi All,

I'd really appreciate some help getting my zoomair 4005 pccard working. I've duplicated an entry from the wi cards in /etc/default/pccard.conf and when I run pccardd -d it sees the card and will load OK and even displays the MAC address of the card.

Any ifconfig command after that just hangs the system. No messages, no panic, no nothing!

Actually that's not quite true. ifconfig -a will list 'wi0' among the interfaces and give it's mac address. I've been trying ifconfig commands like this
ifconfig wi0 inet 172.168.0.2 netmask 255.255.0.0 up

I'm running 4.2R set on a an ABIT BP6 with 396MB and 2 x 500MHZ celery sticks. It isn't a mobile machine, but the only posts I've found about the zoomair cards where on this list. Please excuse my ignorance if I've done the wrong thing by posting here.

TIA,
Peter
