This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_000B_01C0B645.99DA67C0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi All, I'd really appreciate some help getting my zoomair 4005 pccard working. = I've duplicated an entry from the wi cards in /etc/default/pccard.conf = and when I run pccardd -d it sees the card and will load OK and even = displays the MAC address of the card. Any ifconfig command after that just hangs the system. No messages, no = panic, no nothing! Actually that's not quite true. ifconfig -a will list 'wi0' among the = interfaces and give it's mac address. I've been trying ifconfig commands = like this ifconfig wi0 inet 172.168.0.2 netmask 255.255.0.0 up I'm running 4.2R set on a an ABIT BP6 with 396MB and 2 x 500MHZ celery = sticks. It isn't a mobile machine, but the only posts I've found about = the zoomair cards where on this list. Please excuse my ignorance if I've = done the wrong thing by posting here. TIA, Peter ------=_NextPart_000_000B_01C0B645.99DA67C0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="Windows-1252" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Dwindows-1252"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.50.4611.1300" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Hi All,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>I'd really appreciate some help getting = my zoomair=20 4005 pccard working.
