Hi, what is the status of the 21140-AC driver ? I have a lab of brand new diskless machines, running 2.1.6 -- The machines with the 21140-AB work fine with the stock 2.1.6 if_de.c , the ones with 21140-AC do not. I have remade a kernel with the if_de.c taken from netbsd; now the old cards seem not to work, and the new cards work fine up to the point where I try to access the nfs-mounted filesystem (as also Tim Tsai <tim@futuresouth.com> experienced. The machine is not completely dead though, it receives and responds properly to pings, arp requests etc. Maybe there is some mismatch with packet sizes (nfs might use maximum-sized packets) ? Also, a problem still remains in that I am unable to use the same driver for both the -AB and the -AC ... Help/comments appreciated Thanks Luigi -----------------------------+-------------------------------------- Luigi Rizzo | Dip. di Ingegneria dell'Informazione email: luigi@iet.unipi.it | Universita' di Pisa tel: +39-50-568533 | via Diotisalvi 2, 56126 PISA (Italy) fax: +39-50-568522 | http://www.iet.unipi.it/~luigi/ _____________________________|______________________________________
