FYI:

The model differences are AFAIK as follows:

CP is plug&play, CF is strapless (software setup), other 1540/42 models are
strapped.

Mine (1542CF) has. AFAIK 1542/1742/2742 have floppy controllers, whereas
1540/1740/2740 models don't.
