Yeah, I remember when I accessed a local uni Cray (a pretty old one btw) an=

quite some time reading those wonderful man pages and UNICOS
documentation. I never did anything else on that computer other than
read man pages and compile a couple programs to learn about 64bit'isms.
I don't think I'm a criminal for that.

It may be not right, but it's not that bad as long as you have ethics. I
mean, if there had been available test systems for me to use at that
time I probably would have never attempted to access any of those
computers.

Agreed, but it seems some people in this list can't (or do not want to)
understand that simple fact.

I think by now most countries have anti hack laws. It's really sad how
hackers have been demonized by the media. I've been hearing about
cyberterrorist attacks that would lead to an Armaggedon for years, and
am still waiting for it to happen.
