    I'm planning to buy a LaserJet 4MP (maybe at more of a discount,
now that the LaserJet 5's are out and about)... there's been pretty
much unanimous agreement amount HP owners that this printer is a real
gem.  I've heard Lexmarks give good bang for the buck too.

    When the printer gets here, I haven't decided whether I'll connect
it to one of the SGI's (which can only drive it via the parallel port
with the IRIX Impressario driver) or on a FreeBSD box.  It will
probably depend on the ease of SysV->BSD printing vs. BSD->SysV
printing.
