Ok, so I found the "how to get gmirror to play nice" page, and set it up. But, what's this??! Gen2# bsdlabel /dev/mirror/m0s1 # /dev/mirror/m0s1: 8 partitions: # size offset fstype [fsize bsize bps/cpg] a: 10485760 63 4.2BSD 2048 16384 28552 b: 10485760 10485823 swap c: 490223412 63 unused 0 0 # "raw" part, don't edit d: 41943040 20971583 4.2BSD 2048 16384 28552 e: 125829120 62914623 4.2BSD 2048 16384 28552 f: 83886080 188743743 4.2BSD 2048 16384 28552 g: 167772160 272629823 4.2BSD 2048 16384 28552 h: 48234496 440401983 4.2BSD 2048 16384 28552 partition c: partition extends past end of unit disklabel: partition c doesn't start at 0! disklabel: An incorrect partition c may cause problems for standard system utilities Uh, no, I didn't do that. The original label was put there during system installation, and I absolutely did not offset "c" Is this still ok, or am I asking for a (bogus) hard error some day when the system attempts access beyond the end of the physical disk? -- -- Karl Denninger (karl@denninger.net) Internet Consultant & Kids Rights Activist http://www.denninger.net My home on the net - links to everything I do! http://scubaforum.org Your UNCENSORED place to talk about DIVING! http://www.spamcuda.net SPAM FREE mailboxes - FREE FOR A LIMITED TIME! http://genesis3.blogspot.com Musings Of A Sentient Mind
