In a sense those numbers are correct but, do not interpret it as if it is really demanding that much resource. Top needs to be taken with a grain of salt. ----Mike -----Original Message----- From: Nick [mailto:nmanisca@vt.edu] Sent: Friday, April 07, 2000 3:12 PM To: freebsd-alpha@freebsd.org Subject: XF86_SVGA eating cpu PID USERNAME PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME WCPU CPU COMMAND 154 root 64 0 4107M 7768K RUN 25.6H 48.00% 48.00% XF86_SVGA could that be right? This is a 4.0-RELEASE system with XFree86 3.3.6, while sitting at an xdm screen. Think these numbers are accurate or would top be lying?
