Hi, I had tried a full dump , newfs and retore cycle on one of my HEAD machine. As the file systems were mounted I used dump -L. On restore I got one of these per file system: expected next file 23553, got 7809 I know what this meens (according to man pages and sources [though the assumption that next incremental will pick it in restore sources is a bit misleading as if this is the last dump this will not happen at the time we restore ;-) ]). My question is a) why does this still happen with -L ? Is this ok ? b) as this is excatly one single file per file system - what is it ? -- Greetings Bjoern A.
