Having read that, I'd tack your new section 4.4.7.2 ("Detailed information") on to the end of the existing section. IMHO the replacement for the main body of 4.4.7 doesn't add to the original text, and in the replacement text I'd prefer to see fewer informal phrases ("explain in HUGE scary detail") which we've been slowly excising from the Handbook. I haven't had a chance to look over the actual markup yet.
