Just a question about mfs on FreeBSD:

If you mounted a perfectly ordinary ufs partition asynch,noatime (or
possibly softupdates now) on /tmp, would there really be any performance
difference compared to mfs?  Doesn't the unified vm/disk cache mean that
writes are just as likely to hit a real disk as they are a swap
partition?
