I think there is still a good argument behind standardizing on ONE
version of a given tool and not try for the vector of "all versions of
all popular tools" or we're just screwing ourselves.  With ncftp, a
can of worms was opened which should simply be immediately closed by
picking one release of ncftp and sticking with it.
