Hi all Since Luoqi Chen's last fix of softupdates, I've made world 3 times without a hickup. I've seen a couple of warnings: setup_allocindir_phase2: need bmap, blk -12 but no panics. It has speeded up make world times on my P100 machine from 5hrs and 30 min to 3 hrs and 10 mins; the previous times with disks mounted async. This is with devfs and the slice code enabled. Thanks to all concerned :-) Paul To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
