Does this hold true for the version we now have in the tree, and if so, is this worth an UPDATING note? Here's the release notes entry I wrote... OpenSSH has been updated to version 2.9, which adds two new programs, sftp(1) and ssh-keyscan(1). Among the various enhancements: The default protocol is now v2, rekeying of existing SSH sessions is now supported, and an experimental SOCKS4 proxy has been added to the ssh(1) client. ...which was mostly paraphrased from the release announcement. Any suggestions for improvements?
