It is a risk for me, but only a $60 risk. I paid more than that for my MIPS PC that is currently happily running OpenBSD/arc and monitoring the outside temperature.... I see two uses for this card: 1) roaming my house and 2) putting some kind of directional antenna and getting good throughput accross town to a friend's house.
