The following reply was made to PR kern/71086; it has been noted by GNATS. From: "Sean C. Farley" <sean@farley.org> To: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org, sean-freebsd@farley.org Cc: Subject: Re: kern/71086: [panic] in vm_page_remove() (referencing patches) Date: Wed, 1 Sep 2004 13:22:28 -0500 (CDT) Bad caps. Although the panics have been happening for quite some time, it took a long time for any physical symptoms to show up. They just started leaking. While this may be bad news, I am ecstatic that I finally know which part to replace. :) This panic was probably due to the hardware. This bug may be closed, but I am still curious as to why the fix I mentioned in the bug was pulled out of STABLE while still existing in CURRENT. Sean
