Hi, I'm about to implement a RAID system for a customer webserver. The customer is on edge about not having RAID on /. They want to go to 4.0 to get RAID on /, but I feel that 4.0 is a bit premature, since they are "Desperately Seeking Stability". Can other people please comment on: * 4.0 with AMI RAID, apache, mysql in a Dell PIII-600 * as above with 3.4 - what have others done to achieve redundant root filesystems? Traffic rate is about 200,000 hits per day, with a very large proportion driven through perl scripts.
