Subject: 4.5 stable freezes on p200

I have that p200 machine running 4.2 that I am trying to update to 4.5

I build the world and kernel on a different machine (because it is so
slow, and some files seemed to have been corrupted so I can not
buildworld locally), then mounted /usr/src /usr/obj on the p200 and make
installkernel there.

The resulting kernel freezes on the p200. It gets to the little rotating
dash and freezes after displaying the first -

nothing gets in /var/log/messages

I can load the old kernel from the boot loader prompt, and boot it, no
problem...

I tried a generic build without all the hardware I do not have, same
results

The p200 motherboard is a PCISA single-board computer from IPC.

if anyone has any idea on what I can try... please let me know !

bruno

here is the dmesg from the working 4.2 kernel:
