I think you're overstating the case for people needing to do source upgrades. I used to jump between RELEASEs for years (between 2.1.0 and 3.4) and I was quite happy with this. It sounds like you're saying every single FreeBSD user needs to be able to track -STABLE. Cheers, Bruce.
